Church

Heilige Lambertus en Brigidakerk

A striking feature of the Church of Saint Lambert and Brigida in the village of Middelaar is that the tower is not made of brick, like the rest of the church. In World War II, the church was destroyed twice when the Allies advanced to Germany. The new church, which was completed in 1950, has been built according to the original design as much as possible. Because bricks were scarce, the spire is made of marl.
