De Duivelsberg

The Duivelsberg is a hill and nature reserve and a popular destination for hikers and cyclists. Under the name Wylerberg, the hill belonged to Germany until 1949. In that year, the Netherlands claimed various pieces of land from Germany, as debt payment after the Second World War. The Duivelsberg is one of the few debt payments that was not returned in 1963.
