Monument Und so weiter

The Und So Weiter monument marks the place where the Rhine enters the Netherlands for the first time. It is generally assumed that this point is near Lobith, but Spijk is more to the east than Lobith and has therefore deservedly had this monument erected. Und so weiter means and so on or and so on in German and refers to the river that flows over the border here.
