On the edge of Hoorn you will find the Westfries Museum. This museum is housed in one of the most beautiful monumental buildings in Hoorn, on the Roode Steen town square. You can admire all kinds of beautiful objects here that tell you more about the cultural history of West Friesland. Most objects come from the period between 1500 and 1800.
