Gemaal De Oude Horn

This electricity-powered pumping station De Oude Horn has for a long time pumped away excess water to a higher area. The pumping station kept the area between the Lek, the Culemborgse Vliet and the Linge dry. In the years the De Nieuwe Horn pumping station took over this task and since 1978 a glassworks has been established in the De Oude Horn pumping station.
