Weeshuis en Polderhuis

The Orphanage was built in 1695 and according to the facade of the side building with a boy and a girl and the year 1713 was a shelter for orphans. The last orphan left in 1942. The Polderhuis was built in 1925 for the benefit of the polder administration that dealt with the polder that lay between the rivers Twiske and Zaan, but also controlled Oostzaan and Oostzaandam.
