Twiskemolen

On the edge of the recreation area the Twiske is one of the few working polder mills in the Netherlands: the Twiskemolen. This mill dates from 1578 and has been in its current location in Landsmeer since 1975. With a little wind, the blades of the mill can be admired rotating and the mill functions as a pumping station to keep the polder water up to standard.
