Strijbeekse Heide

This heathland is located between the Strijbeek and the Chaamse Beek, against the Belgian border. Characteristic are the large heathlands, which have largely recovered after decades of forest development. In the remaining forests you will encounter Scots pine, silver birch and pedunculate oak, and maybe even a deer or a fox.
