De Waterman

The statue De Waterman was created by Saskia JG Pfaeltzer. The work of art consists of a large figure on stilts holding a cloth, a banner, to the points. A dancing couple wraps around the end of the dress and dances through a constant light rainfall. The large stilt walker constantly gives the dancers new energy through the falling water. The couple dances imperturbably on the water plateau while the waterman pours his water.
