Gemaal Vissering
The Vissering pumping station was put into use on November 2, 1942, albeit with one machine. It took until 1943 for the second machine to participate in the drainage. After the war, the steam engines were replaced by diesel engines. Since the end of May 1946 Vissering has been participating as a fully-fledged pumping station.
