Wijkertoren

The Grote Kerk is the oldest church in Beverwijk. According to a legend, the holy Agatha appeared on this spot around 810, after which a chapel was built on this spot. Over the centuries, this chapel has been further expanded into a very beautiful church. Despite a series of renovations, the church has largely retained its medieval character.
