Sint Nepomucenuskapel

Saint Nepomucenus is the protector of the confessional secret and is traditionally depicted in surplice and biretta. The terracotta statue in the chapel bears the year 1743 at the back. The original chapel along the road to Ittervoort had to make way for the tram track in 1900 and was rebuilt a little further along the Lindepad. This is an age-old footpath, to the Chapel under the Linden, which ran through the field until after the Second World War. The path was also used during the processions from the Abbey Church to the chapel.
