Landgoed Westerhout

Westerhout's history dates back to the early seventeenth century. A trader replaced a farm here with a mansion in 1627. After 1736 the estate changed hands several times until the mansion was replaced by a new country house in 1896. In 1905 the new house was expanded considerably. In the same year, the stables and coach house Westerhoutplein were built. Westerhout park is located behind the current house. Today the country house houses a restaurant and notary's office.
