Jobkapel

The Job Chapel is located on a square Aan St. Job in the built-up area of Thorn. The original chapel was a small niche chapel and was demolished in 1910, after which the construction of a new chapel began. This new chapel was demolished in 1953 and made way for the current larger chapel, which is built entirely of brick. It was built in 2005 and completed in 2006. The chapel has an arched entrance with a door with glass windows. Arched windows have also been placed in the side walls. These four windows are provided with stained glass by Piet Schoor. In front of the chapel is a mosaic of mesh boulders containing the J of Job.
