Chapel or cross
Petruskapel
The Petruskapel is located in the outskirts of Thorn on the corner of the Panheeldersteeg and the Segershof. It is a simple brick chapel with a black gable roof. The chapel has an arch-shaped entrance and stands on a small plateau of mesh boulders surrounded by cobblestones with a mosaic in the center with the letter P of Peter. In the arch above the door with two narrow long windows is a decoration with the name Peter and two crossed keys. There used to be a Peter's chapel along the Wessem - Thorn road, which dates from the first half of the 19th century. This chapel was destroyed during the Second World War. The current chapel was founded in 1993.
