Natuurgebied Het Vlakbroek

The valley of the Everlose Beek is 'home' for many bird species and colorful butterflies. In the valley, a little to the south of Koningslust, lies nature reserve Het Vlakbroek. It used to be in open connection with the Maas and it is still a fairly wet area today. That also explains the name of Het Vlakbroek: 'pants' means swamp!
