Sint Antoniuskapel

Saint Anthony of Padua was a Franciscan and a contemporary of Saint Francis. He is often depicted with the Christ child and a donkey, because he motivated this animal to choose a host over a rack full of hay. Thorn's oldest field chapel was founded in 1742 and was radically restored in 1923. In 2006 it was moved a little and rebuilt with old materials.
