Fort van Brasschaat

Fort of Brasschaat is part of the outer line of the defense belt around Antwerp. In the 1970s, attempts were made to blow up the fort, but without success. It was then decided to simply leave the fort as it was. Since then it has been the habitat for bats and the animals have even managed to arouse the interest of the royal court.
