Onderduikershol Valthe
The hiding place at Valthe, near the monument placed on April 11, 1984, was one of two hiding places in the Valtherbos between Valthe and Emmen that was excavated during the Second World War and was inhabited by a group of Jewish people in hiding. In both forest caves, called "shack" by the divers themselves, there were a total of sixteen Jews in varying composition. The model at the cave in hiding does not give the names entirely correctly.
