Castle
Kasteel Pastorielaan 4 - Vriescheloo
It seems like one of those places where the sun always shines, partly because of the warm Mediterranean look of this stately country house. The plastered central section with the covered entrance, framed by pillars, is flanked by side aisles built from apple blossom-colored cloister mops. The outbuildings are also built with the same monastery mops. With the Engbert Drenthbos as its back cover and at the front a magnificent view over meadows, an eighteenth century church, arable land and more forest, interrupted only by a single farm, the location of this country house can be called idyllic.
