De Groot Recreatie is a versatile recreation company on Wieringen. Whether you are looking for a place to sleep, a fun activity (such as mudflat hiking or shrimp fishing) or a rental bicycle: you will find it all at De Groot Recreatie. Restaurant Het Schippershuus and group accommodation Het Waddenhuus are also part of De Groot Recreatie. If you're staying overnight, you can also try the buoy bath. There are two large authentic Wadden Sea buoys on the site where a comfortable (because equipped with warm running water!) bath has been made. A unique experience! The restaurant is not open daily, only for groups.
