Slijperij Lieckens

Slijperij Lieckens is the last fully equipped pre-war diamond polishing shop in the region. Petrus Lieckens built this grinder in 1908 for his sons, who had learned the trade in Antwerp. The workshop is located behind the Kempen Diamond Center and is illustrative of the many diamond workshops that were located in the region. Copyright photo: TPA
