Munitiehuisje Griendtsveen

The ammunition house in Griendtsveen owes its name to the roof of the house. Before the house was renovated in 2013, it was a matter of course. Loose roofs are characteristic of buildings where ammunition or powder was stored. The intention was that in the event of an explosion, the roof would fly off, so that the rest of the building might be spared. Whether there was actually ammunition in this ammunition house in Griendtsveen is unknown.
