Klooster van Meersel-Dreef en Mariapark

Meersel-Dreef is located in the most northern part of Belgium. In the seventeenth century, the Capuchins built a settlement on the banks of the Mark. Later the monastery was built that still dominates Meersel-Dreef today. The Lourdes Grotto in the Mariapark is a popular place for pilgrims and tourists. On the terraces you can taste the strawberry beer 'Erbizzem'. Copyright photo: TPA
