Hoeve Maes 'la Folie'

This farm was built in 1630 at 100 meters from the Scheldt. The farm formed an important complex with a U-shaped plan, a majestic tower gate and a hipped roof with four dormer windows. The farm has been destroyed several times over the years. Nevertheless, original parts from the seventeenth century have been preserved, including the monumental staircase and original wall remains of Tournai stone.
