Kasteelpark en Doolhof van Loppem

The extensive English landscape park around Loppem Castle is perfect for a walk. The showpiece is of course the Castle of Loppem, a beautiful gem of neo-Gothic total art from the 19th century. This is the only Belgian castle of which both the exterior and interior is still in its original state. Next to the castle is an age-old maze: a complicated labyrinth of red and green hornbeam trees in which young and old can walk around for hours. The castle park is freely accessible.
