Schacht Nulland Kerkrade

The Schacht Nulland is an old air shaft of the former Domaniale Mine in Kerkrade. It is the oldest coal mine in the Netherlands. The foundation 'Koempels van de Domaniale', consisting of former miners, has renovated the shaft and converted it into a museum. Objects, machines and art that remind visitors of the mining past can be admired here.
