Willy Vandersteenplein

The Willy Vandersteenplein is a new residential and shopping area, which extends to the Withoeflei. In 2006, the Kalmthout municipal council decided to name the new square after honorary citizen Willy Vandersteen, on which a beautiful bust of the cartoonist can be seen in the center. This residential and retail project was realized on the site of the old Draka Polva factory.
