Kasteel van Bevern

Bevern Castle is one of the most important monuments of the Weser Renaissance. The visitor enters the castle through a portal with a round arch, a beautiful construction from the 17th century. According to the guidelines of the builder Staius von M? Nchhausen, the building was built with four wings around a square courtyard with a ditch, two bridges and a castle garden. However, the castle is not only worth seeing during the day, but especially at night, when light and sound enchant the building. For the event "N? Chtliches Schloss erleben" (Experience the castle at night), the façades in the courtyard are used as a screen for impressive projections. The music and the colorful play of light enchant the visitor ( May to October, every Saturday at nightfall). A storyteller takes you on an impressive journey through time into the past.
