Burcht van Herzele

The ruins of the castle have been listed as a monument since 1957. The castle's origins date back to the 7th century. The castle ruins towers imposingly over the green walking park and the playground. Do not forget to taste the beers from De Ryck Brewery, opposite the castle square.
