New Belgica

A replica of the three-master 'Belgica' is being built at the New Belgica shipyard. The ship with which Adrien de Gerlache undertook the first South Pole expedition from 1897 to 1899. You can take a look at the workshop where the ship is being built. Permanent exhibition about the South Pole and about the expedition and about the life of Adrien De Gerlache.
