Stadhuis - Belfort en Lakenhalle

The former Cloth Hall is a gem of Flemish medieval architecture. The Belfry, which was protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1999, has been home to a carillon since the 16th century. The carillon has 49 bells with a total weight of 6,800 kg. This means that Dendermonde has a so-called complete carillon according to the Mechelen standard.
