Koppenbergbos

The forests of the Koppenberg are 80ha and a real must-see! Here you get a good picture of the transition between the flat, wet and grass-green Scheldt-Meersen and the wooded flanks of the Koppenberg. There are many old summer oak trees on the southern part of the Koppenberg. They may be 150 to 200 years old and well worth a look. To be explored via the Witness Hills hiking network Flemish Ardennes and the signposted hiking trails.
