Wedelse Molen

This water mill was sold to Floreffe Abbey in 1259. The mill had the ban law whereby the subordinates were obliged to have their grain milled at the designated mill. The mill was in operation until 1957. In 1974 the building was converted into a tavern. Since 1980, the mill wheel has been used to convert hydropower into electricity.
