Brouwerij Lamot

From 1858 to 1994, the beer flowed generously from the brewing kettles of Brouwerij Lamot. Nowadays you can still see those kettles, but beer is no longer brewed in the brewery. At one point, Lamot was the fourth largest brewery in Belgium. and the brewery took over the entire neighborhood. Some beers brewed at Lamot were Pilsor Lamot, Export Lamot and Maibock. Later the Colibri lemonade was also produced. Not the entire brewery has been preserved, but some of the buildings have been saved from demolition. Since 2005, these buildings have served as a brasserie and as a conference and heritage center. History and modern times thus go hand in hand.
