Militair Ereveld

The largest battle of Dutch soldiers in WWII took place on the Grebbeberg. Here poorly armed, untrained men held out for three days against an all-powerful and ruthless adversary. Military Field of Honor Grebbeberg is the final resting place for more than 800 soldiers and 1 civilian who fell during the Second World War. It is located on the Grebbeberg near Rhenen. A few square kilometers of battlefield, full of stories about the courage of despair in the Netherlands.
