In the 17th century, a Roman Catholic secret church stood on this spot. This was later replaced by the current neo-Gothic cross church from 1904. Currently, the church and adjacent rectory are for sale, because they became too expensive for the current owner. A new owner may be able to use the church again as a house of God, but may also choose to repurpose it. It will be carefully considered which possible functions suit this location.
