Recreatiegebied De Krimpenerhout

The Krimpenerhout is located on the edge of Krimpen aan den IJssel. A young recreation area with its own surf lake, a beach and a sunbathing lawn. A fifteen minute walk from the lake is a play polder called 'Polderrijk'. There children can get dirty with jumping ditches, swinging rope and building huts. The area is varied. You will find swampy areas but also a cow forest, where experiments are done with spontaneous forest development.
