Nature reserve
Heidetuin
Winding paths take you through the vegetation, consisting of a large assortment of heather, ferns, rhododendrons and various types of conifers and birches. In the heather garden 150 types of heather have been brought together, some of which are always in bloom. The garden was laid out in 1953 on an open space created after the heavy February storm, as an experiment. The heather continued to grow and eventually the garden even gained international fame.
