Watertoren Werkhoven

Watertoren Werkhoven is a striking place in the middle of the Kromme Rijnstreek. You can enjoy cycling in this polder along rivers and through old towns such as Cothen and Wijk bij Duurstede. The terrace of the water tower is open every weekend from May to September for coffee with a delicious piece of apple-nut pie. You can also enjoy a nice lunch, a real local beer or a glass of fair trade wine. A Hoog Water (high tea at its Watertorens) is also possible.
