Het Wapen van Baak

In the past you would find a cafe next to the church in every village. Nowadays many of those cafes no longer exist, but in Baak they do. Although the church here was deliberately built near the cafe instead of the other way around! Pay a visit to this cafe and you will immediately understand why. The historic building has been beautifully preserved and is in a beautiful location on the edge of the IJssel. You can sit on the large sun terrace with one of the regional beers brewed in the Achterhoek. Or take a seat in the attractive brown pub with an Irish atmosphere!
