Stadhuis Gouda

In the middle of the Market of Gouda is the famous Gothic Town Hall from 1448. Trade took place here, but also the administration of justice. The scaffold (back) and the jaw (right) bear witness to this. The interior of the Town Hall dates partly from the 17th and 18th century. The Town Hall is open to visitors every working day, provided there is no wedding or meeting.
