Herberg De Twijfelaar is located on the edge of the Drentse Wittelte: a village that is sandwiched between the forest wards of Smilde and Appelscha (lookout tower, amusement park, open-air theater) and Dwingelderveld National Park (observatory, sheepfold). You can spend the night here in an authentic, attractive thatched farmhouse from 1874. This group accommodation has a modern kitchen and an adjoining dining room with bar and patio doors to the courtyard. There is also a separate, cozy living room in the front house. There are nine bedrooms in total, most of which are furnished as double rooms. Sanitary facilities are also neat and sufficiently available.
