Stadhuis Enkhuizen
Enkhuizen's town hall was built between 1686 and 1688 and is considered the masterpiece of architect Steven Vennekool. The town hall is 14 meters high and built of brick. The building is covered with natural stone at the front. The town hall was restored from 1980 to 1982. The façade was demolished, provided with a firmer foundation and rebuilt. At the same time, all work rooms were modernized. Currently the town hall is still in use. The interior of the building, including the offices of the mayor and aldermen, is largely still in its original style.
