Café 't Haantje

t Haantje (or'de haan\\\' for some friends and acquaintances) is not just a nice cafe, it is a very special cafe - not to say it is a household name. But what exactly is the secret of it? Part of the explanation is certainly that Piet and Joop know the trade from home. They come from a purebred hospitality family. In 1957, their parents bought Cafe Carnegie on Daalseweg and gave it its current name.
