Luisterplek 206 - Drama op de Maas

On November 11, 1944 a ferry accident takes place in Kessel. Seven residents of Belfry are forced by German soldiers to cross with the ferry. The ferryman refuses to cooperate: the ferry is incorrectly loaded, full of water and heavily overloaded. But command is command. The spring capsizes and sinks. Man and horse drown in the river Maas.
