Eethuisje 't Backertje is located in the authentic center of Oudewater. Next to the eatery you will find the famous witches' weighing house in Oudewater, where women used to be weighed to determine whether they were witches or not. Fortunately, things are a lot nicer in the eatery itself than at the witches' weigh house in earlier times. There is a friendly atmosphere in the historic building and the menu is extensive. You can choose from a cup of tea or coffee with a treat, a high tea and entire meals that vary from pancakes to steak with chips. Something for everyone. Cyclists are welcome in the eatery and a charging point for electric bicycles is available. Handy, because then your bike can charge while you rest from the bike ride.
