De Mastenbar

The café-restaurant De Mastenbar is located on the Compagnieshaven, the busiest harbor in Enkhuizen. From the restaurant and from the terrace you have a wonderful view over the harbor and the IJsselmeer. The busiest sailing route of the IJsselmeer runs along De Mastenbar, so watching boats is no problem here. You would come to De Mastenbar for the view alone, but the cozy atmosphere and the delicious dishes that you can enjoy here are also worthwhile. Take a nice walk or bike ride along the IJsselmeer or inland around Enkhuizen and then settle down at De Mastenbar for lunch, dinner or a drink. Especially the fish and meat dishes are highly recommended here. How about a Portuguese fish stew or tenderloin medallions, for example? You lick your fingers off that. You can relax here after an active day and replenish your energy stock with delicious food.
