Near the Marketplace and the Town Hall, Hotel Neuvice, an oasis of tranquility in the city, opens its doors for you. The hotel combines tradition with modern style and comfort and is located in Rue En Neuvice, the oldest preserved pedestrian street in Liège. In the 12th century, the Rue En Neuvice, which connected the Marketplace and the historic Pont des Arches, was the street of the goldsmiths and printers. Set in three historic buildings around a green courtyard, the hotel was at the beginning of the 18th century the home and workshop of Jean-Fran? Ois Bassompierre, master printer of the Liège bishop, and well known for his reprints of Voltaire, Diderot and Mormontel. These historic buildings have been completely restored and provide hotel guests with a pleasant, contemporary atmosphere.
The library, a relaxation room with a fireplace, books and magazines, opens onto the courtyard with typical 18th-century wooden architecture.
