M91- Bronkhorst - Bronkhorst

The town of Bronkhorst originated around the year 1000 as a fortified peasant settlement. The adjacent castle was the ancestral castle of the lords of Bronckhorst, one of the most important families in Gelderland. The castle has since disappeared, but Bronkhorst has been able to retain its original atmosphere. It is known as the smallest town in the Netherlands.
